          Then Came before me the Subscriber One of his
          Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland
          Doctor Charles Carroll One of the subscribing
          Evidences to the within Articles of Agreement & made
          Oath upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that
          He saw the abovesaid William Stavely then in London
          Signe Seale and Execute the within Articles of Agreement

                                        Sworn to the day and Year first
                                        above written

  x.d   This Indenture made this tenth day fo November Anno
          Domini seventeen hundred and Thirty One Between
          Charles Worthington of Ann Arundell County Planter of
          the One part and John Worthington of the same County
          Merchant of the Other part Witnesseth that the Said
          Charles Worthington for and in Consideration of the sume
          of one hundred and Thirty pounds sterl and ten pounds
          Current Money to him in hand paid by the Said John
          Worthington the receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge
          and thereof and from every part and parcell thereof
          Do hereby fully and absolutely acquit exonerate and Discharge
          him the said John Worthington his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs
          Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliend Enfeoffed and
          Confirmed and Doth by these presents for himselfe his heirs
          Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto
          him the said John Worthington his heirs and assignes
          for Ever all that Tract or parcell of Land Called Brices
          Share Lying on the North side the Main Falls of
          Patapseco and on a Ridge Called Diamond ridge Beginning
          at a Bounded white Oake by a run or Branch thence
          North One hundred perches to a poplar in a Branch
          thence West North West One hundred fifty three perches
          To a white Oake and Hickory on a Hill thence north fifty
          four perches to a Red Oake at the head of a Draft thence
          West by North Two hundred fifty eight perches through the
          Barrans to two white oaks on the point of a Hill by a branch
          thence South South West sixty six perches to a white oake
          then South East Seventy Eight perches to a Red Oake
          and Hickory on the Top of a Thickety Hill thence South
