x.d  This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of April one thousand Seven
       hundred thirty & five Between George Hope of the County of Ann Arundell in the
       Province of Maryland Tanner of the one Part & Snowden Taylor of the said
       County & Province Wheel Wright of the other Part Witnesseth that whereas the
       Right Honourable Charles of most Noble memory &.r Did by his Letters Pattents
       Under the great seal of the af.d Province bearing Date the tenth Day of November
       one thousand Six hundred & Ninety five for the Consideration in the Same mentioned
       Grant unto George Hope by the Name of George Hope of the County of Baltimore
       in the af.d Province all that Parcel of Land Called Hopes Lott Lying in
       Baltimore County on the North side of Potapsco River being Part of a Ridge
       Called Hunting Ridge Begining at a Bounded Elm being the Eastermost
       Bounded Tree of William Slades Land & runing thence North West one hundred
       & Sixty Perches to a Bounded Poplar Standing by a run Descending into
       Gwinns falls then South West two hundred Perches to a Bounded Read Oake
       on a hill by a Glade then South East to a Bounded Hickory of William
       Slades Land one hundred & Sixty perches then with Slades Line
       North East two hundred Perches to the first Bounded Tree Containing and
       then Laid out for two hundred Acres of Land more or Less Together w.th
       all Rights Profitts & Benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall mynes Excepted)
       To have & to hold the Same unto him the Said George Hope his
       heirs & Assigns for ever to be Holden of his Lordship & his heirs as of his
       Lordships Manour of Baltimore in free & common Soccage by Fealty only for
       all Manner of Services under Such Rents Covenants Conditions Limitations
       & Exceptions as in & by the Said recited Deed of Grant or Pattent Relation
       being thereunto had it Doth & may more at Large Appeare Now this
       Indenture further Witnesseth that George Hope Son & Heir Heir of
       the above mentioned George Hope for & in Consideration of the Sum of
