(308) especially Moveing Have Given and Granted And by these Presents Do Give and Grant and Confirm unto the said William Merriott Two Negro Boys The One Named Thistleworth and the other named Joe with Two Good Feather Beds four pillows Two Bolsters four pair sheets four Blankitts Two Quilts Two pair Curtains with Vallians and Teastor six pillow cases one Dozen new pewter plates half a Dozen supe plates one supe Dish three Large Pewter Dishes Half a Dozen Good Chairs One Large Ovell Table One Middling Ditto Half a Dozen Good silver spoons one pair Larg Brass Candlesticks with Brass snuffers & stand Two good iron posts Two skillets & all my Wearing apparell One pair Large silver shoe Buckles whith Knee Buckles & stock Buckle all of silver One Large silver Watch with the Name West on it and One pair of Gold Buttons as also the sume of of One Hundred and Forty pounds Current Money of Maryland To Have and To Hold the aforesaid Two negroes and money and all other the aforementioned premisses unto the said William Meriott His Executors Adm.rs & assignes to his & their Own proper use or uses & Beehoofs for ever Freely & Quietly with out any manner of Challenge Claim or Demand of me the said William Merriott or of any Other Person or Persons whatsoever for me and in my name by my cause or procurement & without any money or other thing to be yeilded payed or done unto me the said William Marriott my Executors Administrators or assignes In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of Aprill Annoq Dom 1735 Signed Sealed & Deliv.d W.m Meriott seal In the Presence of Charles Sewall On the Back of the Jam Waughop aforegoing Deed of John Jones Gift was thus Endors.t Viz.t Maryland |
