x.d  Know all Men by these Presents that I David Waddell Mariner
       for & in Consideration of the Sum of thirty four Pounds fourteen shillings & two
       Pence Current money of Maryland to me in hand Paid by W.m Alexander of y.e
       City of Annapolis Gent Do by these Presents give grant Bargain & sell unto
       him the s.d Will.m Alexander his heirs & assigns for ever my Shalop Called the
       Glascow Now Rideing at Anchor in the River Potomack in Prince Georges
       County with all & singular her Tackle Apparrell & Appurtenances unto
       her belonging or Appertaining & Do by these Presents Covenant Grant
       & Agree to & with the s.d ^Will.m^ Alexander his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns that I Now have
       Good right to Dispose of the same shall & with her Appurtenances & the
       Same will Defend unto him the Said Will.m Alexander his Ex.rs Adm.rs or
       Assignes against all Claims whatsoever In Witness Whereof I have
       hereunto this 11.th Day of April 1735 set my hand & Seal
