(281) x.d This Indenture made the sixth day of July in the year of our Cash p.d Lord God seventeen hundred thirty four Between Joseph Hopewell and his Brother Richard Hopewell of S.t Marys County Gent Witnesseth that the said Joseph for and in Consideration of the sum of forty Pounds Currant Money by the said Richard paid to the said Joseph the Receipt Whereof the same Joseph Does hereby acknowledge Hath granted Bargained and Sold and by these presents Doth grant Bargain and Sell to the said Richard all the Right title Intrest and Claim of the said Joseph of in and two Tracts of Land being in Kent County the one Called Hopewell and the other Hereford with their appurtenances To have and to hold unto him the said Richard his heirs and Assigns forever and the said Joseph for himself and his heirs Doth Covenant promise and agree to and with the said Richard his heirs and assigns to acknowledge this Deed according to Law and to sign seal Deliver and Acknowledge according to law any Other Deed Drawn according to the true Intent and Meaning hereof at any time hereafter at the Request of the said Richard his heirs or assignes in Witness whereof the said Joseph hath hereto set his hand and seal the Day & year above Written Seald and Deliverd in Presence of Joseph Hopewell seale Jn.o Leigh On the Back of the foregoing Deed is Tho.s M.cWilliams thus Indorst Viz.t S.t Marys County July the 1734 Then the within Named Joseph Hopewell Acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed According to Law before us the Subscribers being two of his Lordships Justices Jn.o Leigh Tho.s M.cWilliams Recorded Sep.r 24.th 1734 |
