x.d  This Indenture Made the Twenty fouth Day of August
       Anno Dom ^one thousand^ seventeen hundred & Thirty Three Between Gerrard Hopkins
       Sen.r of the County of Ann.ll in the Province of Maryland Gentl of the one Part Jos
       Hopkins of the s.d County & Province Gentl of the Other Part Witnesseth that
       Whereas the s.d Gerrard Hopkins being possessed of a title in fee simple by a
       Conveyance from Nathan Rigbie Duely executed & recorded for five
       hundred Acres of Land Part of a Tract of two Thousand Acres Called Phillips's
       Purchase orig.ly Granted unto a certain James Phillips scituate & Lying in
       Bal.t County on the South Side of Susquehanna River & on the North west
       side of Deer Creek the bounds od the s.d two Thousand Acres at Large appearing
       by the originall Grant thereof Now this Indenture further
       Wittnesseth that the s.d Gerrard for & in Consid.n of the now Dwelling Plant.n
       of the s.d Joseph Hopkins's & all the Land thereunto belonging being four
       hundred & eighty two Acres Part of a Tract called White Hall orig.lly granted
       unto Jerome White Esq.r the s.d four hundred & eighty two acres being the same &
       Circumscribed as by the s.d Gerrards Deed of Gift to his said son Joseph is
       therein expressed Hath for & in Consid.n of the s.d Joseph's Dwelling Plant.n
       all the Land thereto belonging the receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge
       & to be therewith Contented Satisfied & paid & for himself his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs
       Doth hereby Acquitt Exonerate & Discharge the s.d Joseph Hopkins his
       heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs firmly by these Presents hath in Exchange given
       Granted & Confirmed & by these Presents Doth Exchange give Grant
       & Confirm unto the s.d Joseph his heirs & Assignes all the afores.d five
       hundred Acres of Land Part of Phillips's Purchase circumscribed
       & bounded as by the s.d Rigbies Deed to the s.d Gerrard is therein expressed
       & will appear To have & to hold all the s.d five hundred Acres of
       Land w.th the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
       Appertaining unto him the s.d Joseph Hopkins his heirs & Assignes
       for ever witho.t the Lett hindrance molestation or Disturbance
       of him the s.d Gerrard Hopkins his heirs & Assignes or by any
