x.d  Whereas I the Subscriber Daniel of S.t Thomas Jenifer of S.t
Vide the        Marys County have heretofore Viz.t on or about the seventeenth Day of December
Mortgage     One thousand seven hundred & seven Mortgaged unto Charles Carroll of
mentioned     Ann.ll County Esq.r Dec.d a Certain Psell of Land lying in Calvert County part
in this release of Mannor of Land Called Brooke PLace Mannor Containing by Estimation
recorded in    Three hundred acres as also Ten Negroes thirty head of Neat Cattle & thirty
Lib R            Head of Sheep as in & by the s.d Deed of Mortgadge my more fully & at
N.o 3            Large appear And have alsoe by Bill of Sale Bearing Date on or about
fol 19            the Second Day of July Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and
       Eleven made sale of sundry Negroes Viz.t two Negro Men the one Called Jack
       had of Tho.s Johnson & the other called Cezar had of Cap.t Smith Together with
       a Negroe Child aged about Three years Called Nany alsoe several other
       Goods & Chattles unto the s.d Charles Deceased Redeemable on Payment of     
       the Consideration Money & Interest as in & by the same more fully & at Large
       Appears Now these Presents Witness That in Consideration of
       Five Shillings Current money to me in hand paid by Cha Carroll of Annap.o Esq.r
       Son & Executor of the s.d Charles Dec.d Have for me my Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs
       & assignes Remised Released & for ever Quited Claim as by these Presents I y.e
       said Dan.l Doe for me my heirs & assignes Transferr Remise Release & for
       Ever quit claime unto the s.d Charles as Ex.r as afores.d his heirs & assignes all my right
       Title & Interest of in & to the afores.d Land & Premisses & of in & to the Equity of Redemption
       of the Land Negroes & Other Chattles afores.d unto him the s.d Charles as Exec.r as
       afores.d his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes for Ever To have & to hold the afores.d
       Land & Premisses with all Right & Equitable Right of Redemption unto
       him the s.d Charles as Exec.r as afores.d his heirs & assignes for ever Witness
       my hand & Seale this 3.d Day of Aug.t Anno Dom 1723
