       as by the Deed Recorded in the provincial Land Records in Liber
       P L N.o 8 folio 51 may appear & Whereas Philip Smith by his
       Deed Bearing Date the third day of April seventeen hundred &
       thirty two for the Consideration therein expressed Did Release
       unto the said Charles Carroll the several tracts of Land to him
       Conveyed & sold by the said Thomas Taylor as by the said Deed duly
       executed & recorded in the provincial Land Records in Liber P L N.o 8
       folio 121 may appear And Whereas Charles Carroll of the ^City^ of Annapolis
       Esq.r & party to these presents obtained the Lord proprietors Grant
       on a reservey of one of the tracts of Land Called Rich Levell which
       now includes one hundred & fifty ^seven^ acres which said several Deeds
       & Grant are also Recorded in Baltimore County Land Records And
       Whereas the said purchase was made & Grant obtained by the
       said Charles Carroll in trust to & for the following Uses & purposes
       Viz.t to & for the use of him the said Charles Carroll Esq.r the said
       Benjamin Tasker Esq.r Charles Carroll Surgeon Daniel Dulany Esq.r
       & Daniel Carroll & their several & respective heirs & assignes for ever
       as Tenants in Common in order to support & Carry on an Iron
       Work under taken & began by them the said Charles Carroll Esq.r
       Benjamin Tasker Esq.r Charles Carroll Surgeon Daniel Dulany
       Esq.r Daniel Carroll in Company or partnership in Baltimore
       County although no such use or trust is Declared in the said
       purchase or Grant Now this Indenture Witnesseth that
       the said Charles Carroll as well in Consideration of the said trust
       & for the Better Security of the said Lands According^ly^ as for
       & in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Curr.t money of
       Maryland to him in hand paid By the said Benjamin Tasker
       Esq.r Charles Carroll Surgeon Daniel Dulany Esq.r & Daniel
       Carroll the Receipt Whereof the said Charles Carroll Doth
       hereby acknowledge hath granted Bargained & Sold & by
       the presents Doth Grant Bargain & Sell unto the said
       Benjamin Tasker Esq.r Charles Carroll Surgeon Daniel
       Dulany Esq.r & Daniel Carroll four fifth parts of the said
       Lands purchased & Granted Unto him each tract or parcell
       of Land into five parts to be equally Divided that is to say to
       each of the said parties one fifth part With all the profitts
