(22)   Heirs and Assignes for Ever & to or for no Other use Intent
          or purpose whatsoever And Lastly for the Consideration
          aforesaid they the said Henry Darnall and Ann his Wife
          Do and Each of them Doth hereby Constitute & appoint  
          Cap.t Thomas Gassoway of Ann Arundell County Merchant
          and John Beale of the same County Gentleman or Either
          of them their & each of their true and Lawfull Attorney
          and Attorneys for them or Either of them & in their or  
          Either of their Name place and stead to acknowledge in
          any Court or Courts & before any Judge or Justice in Maryland
          aforesaid or else where in America this and the
          Indenture of Bargain and Sale for a year above referred
          unto ^&^ the Due execution thereof by them the said Henry
          Darnall & Ann his Wife or Either of them and further
          to do any other Act Matter or thing that they the said
          Thomas Gassoway and John Beale or Either of them shall
          think needfull or necessary to be done for the Better Assureing
          of the said severall Tracts of Land Plantation
          Negroes Messuages Tenements Hereditaments & all & singular
          other the premisses herein before mentioned
          To be hereby Granted & Released with their and Every
          of their appurtenances unto the said William Black
          his heirs and assignes according to the true intent and
          Meaning of these presents and whatsoever the Said Thomas
          Gassoway and John Beale or Either of them shall
          Lawfully Doe or Cause to be done in the Premisses by
          Virtue of these presents the said Henry Darnall and
          Ann his Wife do & each of them doth hereby ratifie
          Confirm and allow of In Witness whereof the parties
          first above Named to these present Indentures Interchangably
          have set their hands and Seales the day
          and year first above Written
                                                             Henry Darnall      seale
                                                             Ann Darnall         seale
          On the back of the aforegoing deed was endorst as foll viz.t

          Sealed & Delivered by the within
          Named Henry Darnall the
          parchment being first Duly
          Stampt in the presence of
                      M Macnemara         John Welles
                      James Aiking            Edw.d Grubb
