(23) Sealed and Delivered by the within Named Ann Darnall (the parchment being first duly stampt) in the presence of M Macnemara John Wells James Aiking Edw.d Grubb May the 10.th 1731 Then Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland the above Named Cap.t James Aiking one of the subscribing evidences to the within Deed who makes oath upon the holy evangelists of Almighty God that he saw the within Named Henry Darnall Esq.r and M.rs Ann Darnall signe seale & Deliver the within Deed as this Act and Deed to the uses theirin Mencond Sworn to before me the day and year above Benj.a Tasker Memorandum that on the 19.th day of July Annoq Domini 1731 Then Came before us Two of his Lordships Justices of Prince Georges County the within Named Henry Darnall Esq.r who acknowledges the within Instrument as his Act & Deed and the Land & Premisses therein Mentioned to be the right of the within Named William Black his heirs and assigns ^forever^ according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided and at the same time the within Named Ann Darnall the Wife of the said Henry Darnall being examind privately & out of the hearing of her said Husband acknowledged the within Instrument as her Act and Deed and Released her right of Dower to the within Land and Premisses to the said William Black his heirs and assigns for ever and Declared she made the same acknowledgment willingly and freely and without being induced therto by fears or threats or ill usage of her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure according to the true intent & meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided (Taken) |
