(214) On the Back of the foregoing Instrument was thus Indorst Viz.t June 14.th 1733 Then Came before me one of his Lorships Justices of the Provinciall Court the with Mentioned Andrew Caldwell & Acknowledged the Within Deed & the Lands & premisses therein Granted & sold to be the Right & Estate of Mess.rs John Ross & Charles Carroll their heirs & assigns for ever according to the tenour of the said Deed & the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided Robert Gordon Received of Mess.rs John Ross & Charles Carroll forty pounds being the Consideration Money Within £ 40 0 0 Mentioned Witness Zach.a Maccubbin 10 sid.s Recorded Octob.r the 10.th 1733 Rob.t Carrington x.d This Indenture made this 24.th Day of September one thousand seven hundred & thirty three Between Ambros Neilson of Ann Arrundell County in the province of Maryland planter of the one part & James Crouch of the same County & province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Amborse Nelson for & in Consideration of the sum of Nine pounds four shillings Sterling Money of Great Brittain which the said James Crouch is bound & oblidged to pay for me as being one of the Bonds men for my fathers Estate & one Cow & Calf which the said Crouch is Likewise Bound to be paid as a Legacy Left to Amborse Jonson by my Deceased father & Likewise for the sum of eight pounds Curr.t Money of Maryland which I am Justly Indebted to the said James Crouch before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presence hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed Realiased & Confirmed & by these presents Doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff Release & Confirm unto the said James |
