       August the 28.th 1733 Then Came before me one of his Lordships Justices
       of the provincial Court of Maryland Daniel Dulany Esq.r party to
       the within Deed & Acknowledged the same to be his Act & Deed
       the Land & premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right & Estate
       of Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Chyrurgeon his
       heirs & assigns for ever & Rebecca Dulany wife of the said
       Daniel being privately examined apart from her said
       Husband Acknowledged the same & Declared that she did it
       freely & Voluntarily & without threats of her said Husband
       or fear of his Displeasure

x.d  To all Christian People to whom these presents
       shall come Know Ye that we Rebeccah Cornwallis Relic
       Legaly & Ex.rx of the Last will & testament of William Vanhaes
       Riddlesden al.s Cornwillis of Sussex County on Dellaware Esq.r Deced
       bearing Date the twenty fourth of March 1727/8 & her two sons
       William Conwell & Andrew Caldwell of Kent Co.ty on Dell.r
       Yeoman of the other part whereas a certain Thomas Cornwallis
       of the province of Maryland Esq.r had due unto him twenty seven
       thousand & two hundred acres of Land & Land Rights & all personall
       as well in great Britain as in the said province that he the s.d Thomas
       Cornwallis was Invested with at the time of his Death he did give & Bequeath
       unto Penelope his wife to Dispose of at her pleasure as by the sd will
       Doth more fully & ^at^ large appear Bearing Date the twelfth Day of
       January 1675 & the s.d Penelope Cornwallis by her Last will & testament
       bearing date the 22.d Day of July 1693 did give & bequeath all the above
       Mentioned estate except some legacys of personall Estate unto her
       Daughter Penelope Cornwallis as by the ^s.d^ will Doth more fully & at Large
       appear & she the said Penelope Cornwallis of London widdow by
       her Deed of Sale Duly Executed unto William Vanhaes Cornwallis al.s
