(198) As you & they shall think Convenient for the good goverment of the Inhabitants in our said provinces as Likewise to Repeal or alter any Law or Laws whatsoever already enacted in the said provinces as you with the Advice & Consent aforesaid shall think fitt & expedient Provided such Laws ^so^ to be made & enacted be not Repugnant to the Laws of Great Brittain nor Distruction or Invadeing of the prerogative Royall granted to the Lord Proprietary of the said provinces all which Laws You are hereby Required to transmitt to to Us for our Conformation or Disallowance of them And we Doe further by these presents granted full power & Authority to our said Trusty & Well beloved Samuel Ogle to Exercise Execute & put in practice all & every other power or powers Jurisdictions & Authoritys whatsoever Granted in & by the Letters pattents of his Late Majesty King Charles the first of Blessed memory unto our noble Ancestor Cecilius Calvert Baron of Baltimore his heirs & assignes in as Ample a manner as if we were there personally present & Generally to do execute & preforme all manner of Matters & things ne^ce^ssary for the Good Order Government Administration & Execution of Justice the Maintenance of Our Just Rights & prerogatives & for the Defence peace & preservation of our said provinces & the Inhabitants thereof To have and to hold the said offices stations & powers with all |
