(130) Appertaining To have and to hold to him the said Thomas Shea his Heirs and assigns fro ever to his and their proper Use and Behoof and to no other Use Meaning or Intent whatsoever the aforesaid Two Hundred Acres of Land with the Appertenances and the said Charles Carroll Esq.r John Digges and Charles Carroll as Executors aforesaid do Covenant and Agree to and with the said Thomas Shea that they will at any time within the Space and Term of Twelve Months from the Date hereof do and Execute and suffer to be done and Executed any other or further Deed or Deeds for the more sure making over and Confirming the said Bargained Premisses to him the said Thomas Shea his Heirs & Assigns that he the said Thomas or his or their Learned Council in the Law shall Devise or Advise Provided the same be at the Cost and Charges in the Law of him the said Thomas his Heirs or Assigns according to the Will of the said James before recited In Witness whereof and the foregoing Premisses the said parties to these Presents have Interchangeably sett their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written Char Carroll seal John Diggs seal C Carroll Seal On the Back of the aforesaid Deed was Written as follows Viz.t Sealed and Delivered in presence of the Robert Gordon James Gordon By Charles Carroll Esq.r Jn.o Ross Robert Gordon Then Received of Thomas Shea the Sum of Forty five Pounds Eight Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned £ 45 8 John Digges Robert Gordon Charles Carroll James Gordon Char Carroll Jn.o Ross 21.st Decer 1732 Then came before me Robert Gordon one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Charles Carroll Esq.r John Digges and Charles Carroll Chyrurgeon and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of Thomas Shea According to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided 6 sides 1/2 Recorded Feb.ry 2.d 1732 Robert Gordon Mem.d on the back of a deed from Nich.o Grime to Tho.s Worthington recorded in this Book folio 61 was written the following acknowledgment Mem.d On this day to with the 26.th day of September seventeen hundred and thirty two Came Ahie Grimes the wife of the within named Nicholas Grimes before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and being Privately Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband did freely (and) |
