(129) Sterling being the Consideration within Mentioned £ 100 Witness present Char Carroll at M.r Digges's signing John Digges D Dulany C Carroll & Cha Carroll Esq.r & D.r C Carroll Ross Decer 15.th 1732 Then was the within Deed Acknowledged according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases provided by Charles Carroll Esq.r Doctor Charles Carroll and John Diggs parties thereto before me Robert Gordon Esq.r one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court And the Law and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate and Inheritance of the said Richard Johns the other party thereto his Heirs and assigns for ever Robert Gordon 11 sides Recorded February the 2.d 1732 x.d This Indenture Made the fourteenth Day of December Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Thirty two Between Charles Carroll John Digges and Charles Carroll Chyrurgeon acting Executors of the Last Will and Testament of James Carroll of Ann Arundell County Gent deceased on the one part and Thomas Shea of Baltemore County Planter on the other part Witnesseth that Whereas the said James Carroll by his Last Will and Testament bearing Date the Twelfth day of February 1728 Devised several Lands to be sold by his said Executors as by the said Will Reference thereto being had may more fully appear Now this Indenture further Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll Esq.r John Digges and Charles Carroll Chyrurgeon as Executors aforesaid for and in Consideration of the sum of Forty five pounds Eight shillings sterling money of Great Britain to them in hand paid to and for the Use of the Estate of the said James by the aforesaid Thomas Shea the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof do Acquit and Discharge him the said Thomas Shea his Heirs Ex.rs and Administrators Have Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliend Enfeofed & Confirmed and do by these presents absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Thomas Shea his Heirs and Assigns for ever Two Hundred Acres of Land part of a Tract or Land called the Out Quarter Granted to the said James the tenth day of November One Thousand seven hundred and nine scituate and being on the Draughts of Deer Creek in Baltimore Coty the said Two hundred being one hundred and eighty perches from the Beginning tree of the whole Tract called the Out Quarter in the North and by West line of the said Land and runs with the said line North and by West one hundred and sixty perches then West and by South two hundred perches then South and by East one hundred and sixty perches thence by a streight line East by North Two hundred perches to the Beginning Containing two hundred Acres of Land Together with all the Buildings and Appertenances thereon or thereto in any Ways belonging or (Appertaining) |
