(126) July the 29.th 1732 Came the within Mentioned John Bradford before me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Deed according to Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided and the Lands therein Mentioned to be the Right of the within Mentioned Charles Carroll 6 sides 1/2 Robert Gordon Sigillum Baltimore Omnibus Christi fidelibus ad quos hoc Scriptum pervenerit Salutem Noveritis nos Carolum Baronem de Baltimore Dominum et Proprietarium Provinciarum Marylandiæ et Avaloniæ Absolutum Dilectum in Christo Jacobum Henderson Clericum in Artibus Magistrum obejuo Vitæ Morumque Integritatem et alia Virtutum Morita quibus eum Deus Insignivit in Capellamum meum Domesticum recepisse of admisisse ad effectualiter consequendum omnia et singula Privilegia Gratias Libertates et Prove mentias ad hoc pertinentia Quocirca hoc universitati vestra attestatum et declaratum esse volumus per Presentes In cujus rei Testimonum sigillum nostrum ad arma presentibus apponi curavimus hoc primo die mensio Febuarii Anno nostre Dominii decimo Octavo Annoq Domini Millesimo Septingentevimo tricesimo secundo 1 side Maryland Baltimore Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore To Our Right Trusty and well beloved the Upper and Lower houses of our General Assembly and to all others in our great said Province for the time being Greeting Whereas at a session of seal in Assembly begun and held at the City of Annapolis the Eleventh day of July wax append.t and ending the Eighth day of August in the Eighteenth year of Our Dominion Annoq Domini 1732 An Act to prevent Bribery and Corruption in the Election of Citizens or Delegates to serve in Assembly for the City of Annapolis passed into a Law On due Consideration thereof We have thought fit to Dissent to the said Law and do hereby declare the said Law Null Void and of no Effect Given at Annapolis this twenty third day of January in the Eighteenth Year of our Dominion Annoq Domini 1732 1 side 1/2 |
