(125) these presents for him and his Heirs Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Confirm and make over unto the said Charles Carroll his Executors Administrators and Assigns all that Tract of Land called Strife Containing five hundred acres More or less Surveyed for the said John on or about the Twentieth Day of August 1728 Also all that Tract of Land called Plain Dealing Containing three hundred acres More or Less Conveyed to the said John by his father on or about the 25.th Day of August 1728 Also all those Two parcels of Land being parts of a Tract of Land called the Widows Mite the one Containing One hundred and Ninty Six acres the other Containing Nineteen Acres of Land Conveyed to the said John by Thomas Fletchall on or about the 21.st day of August 1728 Also One hundred Twenty four acres part of the Widows Mite Conveyed by Thomas Fletchall to William Renshaw and by the said Renshaw to the said John also that Tract of Land called the Vineyard Containing fourteen Acres of Land Conveyed by John Flint to the said John the 12.th Day of December 1728 Also all that Part of a Tract of Land called the Discovery Containing Sixty five Acres Conveyed also by the said John Flint to the said John Bradford To have and to hold the said several Tracts and parcels of Land Together with all and singular the Improvements and Appurtenances thereon or thereto belonging to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for and to no other Use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever Provided Nevertheless and [illegible] use intent and meaning of these presents is that if the said John Bradford his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the said Charles Carroll his Ex.rs Adm.rs or assigns the just and full sum of One hundred fifty one pound thirteen shillings and four pence Sterling with Legal Interest from the Date hereof then the Above Deed to be Void Otherwise to Remain in full force and Virtue In Witness whereof the Parties to these presents have Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered In the Presence of Jn.o Bradford seal Walter Smith N Goldsborough Memorand.m On the Back of the foregoing Deed was written as follows Viz.t July the 29.th 1732 Then Received from Charles Carroll Esq.r the Sum of One hundred fifty one pounds thirteen shillings and four pence Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned £ 151 13 4 Witness Walter Smith Jn.o Bradford N Goldsborough |
