(123) Directions of the Acts of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Taken and Acknowledged before me the Day & year above Recorded December 10.th 1732 John Smith x.d To all People to whom this present Writing shall Come I WIlliam Willson of S.t Marys County in the Province of Maryland send Greeting in our Lord God Everlasting Know Ye that I the said William Willson as well for and in Consideration of the Natural Affection and fatherly love which I bear unto my well beloved Child Mary Anne Sharks as also for divers other good Causes and Considerations me at ^this^ present especially moving have Given and Granted and by these presents do give Grant and Confirm unto the said Mary Ann Shanks a Negro Wench Named Hanna with a Molatto Girl of hers called Phillis four Cows and Calves a feather Bed with the furniture belonging to it a Warming Pan and a Spaed Mare all now in my own Custody and possession To have and to hold all and singular the said Negro Wench and her Molatto Child the feather Bed and all other the aforesaid Premisses unto the said Mary Ann Sharks her Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns to her and their own proper uses and behooffs for ever freely and Quietly without any Matter of Challenge Claim or Demand or me the said William Willson or of any other person or persons whatsoever for me in my Name by my Cause or Procurement And without any Money or other thing to be Yielded paid or Done unto me the said William Willson my Ex.rs Adm.rs or assigns and I the said William Willson all and singular the Goods and Premisses unto the said Mary Ann Shanks her Ex.rs Adm.rs & assigns to the use aforesaid against all people do Warrant and for ever Defend by these Presents And further Know Ye that I the said William Willson have put the said Mary Ann Shanks in peaceable and Quiet Possession of all and Singular the aforesaid Premisses by the Delivery unto her at the ensealing hereof a Coined piece of Silver fixed on the Seal of these Presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventh Day of October Anno Dom 1732 thirty two his Signed Sealed and Delivered William Willson seal In psence of mark his Thomas T Jeans James Dickson (Recorded 10.th Decem.r 1732) mark To all People to whom this present Writeing shall Come I Will.m Memorand.m Willson of S.t Marys County in the Province of Maryland send Greeting in M.r Phill Key our Lord God Everlasting Know Ye that I ^the said^ William Willson as well for pays fees and in Consideration of the Natural Affection and fatherly Love which I bear for the Copy unto my well beloved Child Sarah Willson as also for Divers other good of this Deed Causes and Considerations me at this present especially Moving have Given (and) |
