(118) Should and might Not withstanding the said Intended Mariage be taken and Accounted as a separate and Distinct Estate from the Estate of him the said John Campbell and should be Ordered Disposed of and employed to such person Manner and form as is thereafter therein Mentioned and Declared that is to say That the same Goods and Chattles should remain and Continue with the said John and Hellin During the Joynt lives of the said John and Helling for the better Maintainance of the said John and Hellin And it was further Agreed by & between all and every the said parties and the said Jn.o Campbell Did thereby Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said John Beale his Ex.rs & Adm.rs and to and with every of them thereby in Manner & form following that the ^said^ several Goods and Chattles in the Schedule thereunto Annexed Mentioned and every of them and every part & parcel of them Should from time to time and at all times after the Date Death of the said Hellin be paid unto had taken received and enjoyed by such person or psons to whom the said Hellin Jubb should at any time or times during her life Limit Give Devise order appoint or Dispose of the same or any part or parts thereof Either by their last Will and Testament in writeing or by any writing Purporting or Intending to be her Last Will and Testament of by any other Writing to be Signed with her hand or which she should put her Mark to in the Presence of two or three more Credible Witnesses thereunto and it was thereby agreed by and between all and every the said Parties that for Want of Such Limitation Gift Devise or Appointment or Disposition of her the Said Hellin as aforesaid that then and in such Case that there should be paid and Disposed out of the several Goods and Chattles in the Schedule thereunto Annexed they being exposed to Publick Sale the several sums of Money following That is to Say Out of the Money that should be raised out of the Sale of the several Goods and Chattles mentioned in the Schedule thereunto Annexed To Hellin Moretemore Twenty Pounds Current Money to John Brigdale at the age of Twenty four Years Twenty five pounds Like Money to Elizabeth Brigdale Twenty five pounds like Money To Marg.t Mortemore fifty pounds Like Money To Willmott Mortemore Twenty five pounds like Money and Twenty three pounds like Money to be Laid out in a Grave Yard at the Plantation where Daniel Brigdale Now Lives called Levy Neck and the residue of the said Goods & Chattles after the several Sums of Money aforesaid should be Made thereout One hundred pounds thereof was to be and remain to the Proper Use of the said John Campbell and the Remainder was to be equally Divided Among the Grandchildren of the said Hellin Jubb and it was thereby further Testified and Declared by and between the said parties that if |
