111 within named Zach.a Maccubbin who acknowledges the within Instrum.t as his Act and Deed to the uses therein Mentioned According to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Taken and acknowledged before me the Day and Year above Ch.a Hammond 6 1/2 Recorded Octob.r 13.th 1732 This Indenture Made the Thirtieth Day of April in the Seventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Ann by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen Defender of the faith &.r and in the year of our Lord God One Thousand seven hundred and eight Between Benony Fanning of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Hannah his wife as well for and in Consideration of the sum of four Thousand Pounds of Tob.o and Cask to him the said Benj.a at and before the ensealing & Delivery of these presents in hand paid by the said John Contee as for Divers other good Causes and Considerations him hereunto moving have Given Granted Bargained Aliened Sold Assigned Transfered Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents do Clearly and absolutely Give Grant Bargain Aliene Sell Assign Transferr and Enfeoff & Confirm unto the said John Contee his heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land called Buck Range lying in Baltimore County or so much of the said Tract as now is and Doth belong to the said Benony Fanning & Hannah his Wife or may & shall hereafter belong unto them Beginning at at bounded Hickory Tree standing on the Westside of a branch of Back River over against a Tract of Land called Paradise and running from thence North North East One hundred and twenty pches to a bounded White Oak standing in a Marsh by a Run side thence Continuing the same course fifty five pches thence by a line Drawn West North West five hundred Thirty five perches and the third part of a perch then South South West two hundred and Ten perches thence with a straight line to the first bounded Tree containing and now laid out for seven hundred and fifty acres of Land more or less Together with all Dwelling Houses Messonages Buildings Barnes Stables Gardens ^Orchards^ Out Houses Profits & Commodities Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any ways appertaining and all Patents Deed Writeings Evidences touching the same or any part (thereof) |
