(94) to and with every of them by these
presents that he the said Thomas Cockey and his heirs shall and will at any time or times hereafter at the reasnable request cost & charges in the Law of of him the said Benjamine Mead his heirs or assigns make do acknowledge suffer and execute or cause to be done or so suffered all or any such further and other reasonable act or acts thing or things conveyances or assureances in the Law whatsoever as by the said Benjamin Mead his heirs or assigns or his or their council Learned in the Law shall be reasonably advised devised or required for the further and more perfect assurance and suremakeing over all and singular the intended to be hereby granted Land and premises and every part and parcell thereof unto him the said Benjamine Meade his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the parties to these presents In Wittness whereof the party first above named hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year furs above written Tho Cockey seal
Memorandum May y.e 18.th 1725 Then came the above named Thomas Cockey before me the subscriber one of the justices of the Right Honl.ble the Lord Propry his Prov.l Court and acknowledged the abov^e^ mentioned Land & premisses & every part & parcell thereof to be the rights & Estate of the above named Benjamine Meade his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent & meaning of the same Deed And at the same time came Elizabeth the wife of the said Thomas who being secretly examined out of the hearing of her said husband declared that she relinquished her Right of Dower to the land and Premises above mentioned willingly & freely without being induced therto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her said husband or fear of him Displeasure according to Act of Assembly in that cace made and provided Recorded Aug.t 27 1725 Witness my hand Jn.o Mackall |
