within Writtin of the within named George Plater and Edmund Jennings the sum of two hundred and five pounds current money being the full consideration 205 money for the purchase of the premisses within mentioned Wittness Th.o Larkin July y.e 8.th 1725 Then came before me Samuel Young Esq.r Cheif Justice of the provincial Court of the province the within named Thomas Larkin and did acknowledge the within written indenture to be his act and deed and the Messuage or Tenem.t and part of the Lott and premisses within mentioned to be the Right of George Plater and Edmund Jennings their Heirs and Assignes for ever according to the purport true intent & meaning of the within writtin indenture and according to an Act of Assembly in such cases made & provided Recorded Aug.t 19.th 1725 Sam.ll Young x.d This Indenture made the eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty five Between Thomas Cockey of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one Part and Benjamin Meade of the County and Province af.d Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Cockey for and in consideration of a Parcell of Land with a Plantation upon the same scituate lying and being on the south side of Maggaty River in Ann Arundell County by the same Benjamin to the same Thomas at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents Convey^ed^ assigned & duly acknowledged according to the form of the act of assembly entituled an Act for Enrolling Conveyances and securing the Estate of Purchase the receipt whereof |
