me secretly examined out of the hearing of her s.d husband did give hur volintary and free consent to the passing the s.d Deed without any compulsion threat or fear of her husbands displeasur according to Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Sam.ll Young R.d y.e day and year first within mentioned of the within named John Brown the consideration money within mentioned to be paid to me by him I say R.d by me John Vines Test Moses Adney Recorded August y.e 18.th 1725 x.d This Indenture made the Fifth day of July in the eleaventh year of our soveraign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britaine France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &.r in the tenth year of his Lordshipps Dominion &.r Annoq Domini one thousand seven hundred and twenty five Between Thomas Larkin of the City of Annapolis Esq of the one part and George Plater Edmund Jennings of the same place Esq.s of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Thomas Larkin for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and five pounds current money of the province of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said George Plater and Edmund Jennings before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth fully clearly and absolutely acquitt exonerate and discharge them the said George Plater and Edmund Jennings and each of them their and each of their Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these presents and for divers other good causes and considerations him thereunto moveing he the s.d Thomas Larkin hath granted bargained sold alined enfeoffed |
