(66) Worthington his heirs and assignes for
ever according to the true intent and meaning of the same deed and the act of assembly of this province in such cases made and provided and at the same time came Anne the wife of the said Vachel Denton who being secretly examined out of the hearing of her her husband declared that she Relinquisht the right of dower to the land and premisses abovementioned willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ille usage by her husband or fear of his displeasure according to act of assembly in that case made before me Ldps the Lord Proprys Cheif Justice of the provinciall Court the day and year first above written Samuel Young Recorded May y.e 10.th 1725 x.d This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of July in the Tenth year of the reign of our soveraign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain Franceis and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c.a and in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and twenty four Between Thomas Bladen of the par^i^sh of S.t James within the liberty of of Westeminster in the County of Middlesex Esq.r of the one part and Thomas Colemore of the City of London merchant of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Thomas Bladen for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings sterl to him in hand paid by the s.d Thomas Colemore before the sealing and and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Thomas Colmore all that the manor or Lordship or reputed manor or Lordship called Kentforte Manor scituate lying and being in Kent Island in the province of Maryland in America and all the Lands Tenements and hereditaments thereunto beloinging or therewith used and enjoyed together with all and singular the houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings Barns stables Erections structures Gardens Ways Easements Water Water Courses profitts and appurtenances whatsoever To have and to hold the said manor or Lordship or reputed manor or Lordship and all and singular other the premisses hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and sold with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Thomas Colmore his Executors Administrators and assignes from the day next before the day of the date |
