(63) County Planter of the one part and the af.d
Amos Garrett remaining on record in Baltemore County Court Libe JS N.o 4 fol 468 for the Consideration therein mentioned did remise release and for Ever quit all manner of Claims that he then had or might have by virtue of his father Thomas Browns will &c.a Now This Indenture farther Wittnesseth that the said Vot Brown for and in Consideration that in Case the several Tracts of Land made over were Duely valued so as the whole might bear the sume due to Amos Garrett the Proportion thereof that the Potuxent Plantation and all the Land adjoyning to itt bequeath.d to him should pay therefore the said Valentine Brown for and in Consideration of besides or over and above of the just sume of Eighty Pounds Curr.t Money to the af.d Vot Brown in hand paid by the said Amos Garrett the receipt whereof the said Vot did doth hereby acknowledge I the said Vot Brown by these presents do hereby remise release and for Ever quit all manner of Claims that I have by vertue of my Father Thomas Brown Will and bequest to me or hereafter shall have of in and unto the Potuxent ^Plantation^ and all the land adjoyning to itt or any part of the said Land and Premisses af.d unto him the said Amos Garrett his heires and assignes forever and the said Vot Brown for himself and his heirs absolutely releas unto the said Amos Garrett all manner of Right or advantages that the s.d Vot now hath or hereafter may have to any Equity of redemption of the aforesaid Land and premisses to the said Amos his heirs and assignes for ever In Wittness whereof the said partys hath hereunto Interchangably set to their hands and seals the day and year afd his signed sealed &.dd In presence of us Vot + Brown seal Amos Woodward mark John Sheldon On the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorst viz.t Annapolis Maryland 16 Aprill 1725 Then recd of the within named Amos Garrett the sum of Eighty Pounds Cur.t Money being the Consideration besides what the said land was by Deed Engaged for paid to his Father by the ^s.d^ Amos for the within purchased Putxent Plantation and all the Land adjoyning to itt &c.a as Wittness my hand and seal the day and year afd Wittness Amos Woodward John Sheldon his Vot + Brown seal mark Anap.l Maryland 16 Aprill 1725 Then came the within named Vot Brown before me Sam.l Young Esq.r one of his Lordships Justices for the Province of Maryland and acknowledged this Deed and the Land &c.a therein mentioned and signed to be the right of the within named Amos Garrett his heirs and assigns for Ever according to Act of Assembly in that case made and Provided Recorded May 8.th 1725 Samuel Young |
