(52)      thirty four pounds four shillings & five pence sterling with a proviso
             in the said Deed that if the said Thomas Sterling his heires
             Executrs or Adm.rs should pay the af.d sum at the time & in   
             the manner in the said Deed Expresed The said Deed should
             should be void And where as no more of the af.d sum of Three
             hundrd & thirty four pounds four shillings & five pence or of
             the legall Interest thereon heretofore has been paid
             or satisfied to the said John Hyde but what the sale of the
             af.d four Negroes amounted to which is agre^e^d upon by and
             betwen the af.d Alixander & Coll John Bradford Attorney in
             fact of the said John Hyde to be one hundred pounds sterling
             which with the purchase money agreed upon by & betwen
             the said John Bradford And the said Alexander Adair for the
             Land called Nova Scotia part of Richardsons Outlett sterlings
             perch and Adition to Majors Choice by the said Alixander and
             his wife af.d lately Conveyed to the said John Hyde amounted
             to No more then Three hundred & fifty nine pounds which is
             short of the principall money & Interest thereon as af.d And
             Whereas in regard neither partey knows at present when
             the af.d Negroes were delivered up to or sold by the af.d John
             Hydes then Attorneys in fact Consequently the sume due
             on the said Mortgadge made by Thomas Sterling as af.d
             cannot with any certainty be calculated It is therefore
             hereby provided that if the said Alixander Adair or Christian
             his wife them or either of them their or either of their heirs
             Ex.rs Adm.rs or assignes shall pay & satisfye to the af.d John
             Hyde his Ex.rs Adm.rs or assignes when the account shall be
             duley stated What remains unsatisfyed of the principal money
             & lgall Interest thereon as af.d & is lawfull & customary on
             Mortgadges That then this Deed & every clause therein
             contained shall be Null & void to all intents & purposes But in
             Case of failure of payment of what shall apear to remain
             unpaid of the principall Money & Interest as af.d upon a just
             Calculation thereof as af.d Then this Deed to remain & be in full
             force and virtue in Law This Testimoney whereof the partys to
