             same willingly and freely without being induced thereto by hard
             usage or threats of her said husband or for fear of his displeasure

             The abovementioned Benjamine Belt Acknowledges
             the within Deed as abovesaid and also the said Elizbeth
             being secretly Examined as aforesaid acknowledges
             her free consent as af.d and according to act of Assembly af.d
             before me one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial
             Court of Maryland this twenty seventh day of November
             Anno Dm seventeen hundred twenty and foure

             Ex.d      This Indenture made the second day of December
             in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred & twenty
             Four Between Alixander Adair of Calvert County Chirurgeon
             & Christian his Wife of the one part And John Hyde of the Citty
             of London Merchant of the other part Wittnesseth that they the
             said Alexander Adair & Christian his Wife Doe for and in
             Consideration of the sum of five shillings to them in hand paid
             by Coll.o John Bradford Attorney in fact of the said Hyde the
             recept whereof they do hereby Acknowledge also for divers
             goods Causes and vauable Considerations them thereunto
             moveing Have given grant^ed^ bargained sold alined enfeofed Confirmed
             & made over as these presence they the said Alexander
             Adair & Christian his Wife Doe for themselves and each of
             themselves their and each of their heires give grant bargain
             sel aline enffeof confirm and make over unto ^him^ the said John
             Hyde his heires and Assignes for ever to the onely proper use
             and behoof of him the said John Hyde his heirs and Assignes
             All that tract or parcel of Land Called Majors Choices
             Originally surveyed for Thomas Marsh one on or about
             the twenty fourth day of June sixteen hundred & sixty
