(478) and Administrators Hath Given Granted
Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and do by these presents absolutely freely and Clearly give grant bargain alien enfeoff release and confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assignes for ever all that Tract or parcell of Land before mentioned Called Johnsons Interest Begining at a bounded spanish oake standing on the south side of a Run Called Charles his Run and Runing up the run South and by east half a point easterly fifty perches to abounded white Oake Standing in the fork of the Run then west and by North one hundred and forty three perches to abounded white Oake then South South west forty perches to a bounded red Oake in a Valley in a kind of Pecosan then west South west Sixty three pches to abounded white Oake on the Point of a hill then west & by North One hundred & Sixteen pches to abounded white Oake on a Ridge then west one hundred & sixteen perches to abounded red Oake on a Ridge then North East half a point Northerly two hundred eighty two pches then with a streight line to the first Tree Containing & Laid out for three hundred and Sixty Acres Except the said one hundred & sixty acres sold to the afd John Gattrell together with all and singular the Right Title & Estate of in and to the afd Land and premisses whether in possession Reversion or remainder which now they have or hereafter may have in or to the same with all other the profits and advantages thereof & thereto belonging or in any ways appertaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes for ever the afores.d Tract of Land under the meets & bounds aforesaid Except as before Excepted to his and their proper use and behoof and to no other use ^meaning or^ Intent &c whatsoever And the said Benj.a Johnson and Tho.s Johnson do for themselves and their heirs Covenant and agree to and with him the said Charles Carroll that they the said Benjamin and Thomas shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter Warrant and Defend the said Bargained premisses being two hundred Acres of Land the remaining part of the said Johnsons Interest to him the said Charles his heirs & assigns for ever as well against them the said Benjamin & Thomas & their heirs as against all Manner of Claims & Demands whatsoever (and) |
