(474)    Opertunities all such Moneys Effects or Bills of Exchange as
             should arise grow due and be received by or from his said Lordships
             shipping Officers or any other persons on all or any
             of the aforesaid Branches of his Revenue and upon receipt of
             any Money Bills of Exchange or other Effects sufficient Discharges
             and Acquitances to give and signe to the person or persons concerned
             or owing such Moneys Effects and Bills of Exchange and
             Generall to act do and perform fulfull and accomplish all and
             Every other Act and Acts thing and things requisite & necessary
             for the due execution performance and justly dischargeing the
             severall and respective offices powers and Authorities thereby given
             and Granted him or intended to be given and Granted him And the
             said Lord Proprietary thereby Ratified Confirmed and held for good
             Effectuall and Valid whatsoever the said Mathew Tilgman Ward
             should Lawfully do or Cause to be done in the premisses notwithstanding
             any insufficiency or defect in the words expressions clauses or sentances
             therein And the said Lord Proprietary did thereby further for
             a Compensation salary & Encouragement to the said Mathew
             Tilgman Ward for the punctual sincere and faithfull performance
             of the powers and authorities thereby Granted him in Consideration
             of the pains Labour and trouble he should take in the due execution
             thereof authorize direct and impower him the said Mathew
             Tilghman Ward to take receive and Retain to and for his own
             use out of all such Moneys Tobaccoes or other effects as should
             be received on any the accounts aforesaid (Except out of Such
             Moneys or Bills of Exchange as should arise out of the duties
             ariseing by the Exportation of Tobacco or by Tonnage of ships)
             the sume of Ten pounds in the hundred and so prorato for
             a greater or Lesser Quantity and for Receiveing and remitting the
             Duties ariseing by the exportation of Tobacco and Tonnage of
             ships the sume of One Hundred pounds sterling Yearly, if
             therefore the said Mathew Tilghman Ward shall well and truly
             account for and remitt Yearly dureing his Continuance in the
             said offices unto the said Lord Proprietary his heirs executors
             administrators or assigns or his or their order or appointment
             for his or their proper use by the first and safest operunities
             all such moneys effects or Bills of Exchange (Except the
             said Compensations, Salarys, and Encouragement to him the said
             Mathew Tilghman Ward Granted by the said Lord Proprietary
             which is to be taken received & retaind by the same Mathew
             Tilghman Ward his executors or administrators out of the said
             Moneys Effects of Bills of Exchange as by the said recited deed
             is Limmitted and appointed) as shall arise grow due and be
             Received by or from the said shipping officers or any other
             persons in all or any of the aforesaid Branches of his said
             Lordships revenue and also if the said Mathew Tilghman Ward
             do and shall for and dureing all the time that he the said
             Mathew Tilghman Ward shall Continue in the said
