This Indenture made the first day
of January in the sixteenth year of the Dominion of the right vide release Honourable Charles Absolute Lord and Propryetary of the recorded in Province of Maryland & Annoq Dom seventeen Hundred Lib EF N.o 8 and Thirty Between Joseph Willson of Prince fol 220 Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Daniel Carroll of Malborough in the said county and Province Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Joseph Willson for and in Consideration of the sume of seventy pounds Current Money of Maryland aforesaid to him in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge & himselfe therewith fully sattisfied and contented and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth fully Clearly and absolutely ^Exonerate^ Acquitt and Discharge him the said Daniel Carroll his heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes for Ever Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And doth by these Presents absolutely and freely give Grant bargain and Sell Alien and Confirm unto him the Said Daniell Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all them Two Tracts of Land Scituate Lying and being in Prince Georges County the one called Brookhill formerly laid out for Baker Brooks Esq.r Begining at a Marked Oak standing on the North Side of S.t Charles Branch being a west Branch of a dividing Creek with a Line drawn North from the said oak for Length of One hundred perches thence West to a Marked Oak from the end of the North Lyne for Length one hundred and Sixty Perches to a Bounded Oak with a Lyne drawn South from the end of the West Lyne for Length one hundred perches to a Marked Oak with a Lyne drawn East from the end of the south Lyne for Length of one hundred and sixty perches to the first begining tree containing one hundred Acres of Land The Other Called Kingsale formerly taken up by Jeremiah Sullivane Begining at a Bounded white oak standing on the North side of S.t Charles's Branch near a Parcell of Land formerly Laid Out for Baker Brooke and from the said Oak runing North two hundred and four perches to a Bounded Hiccory in a Lyne of a parcell of Land formerly laid out for Thomas Trueman called Dear Bought Bounded by the Said Land and running West and by North for One hundred & sixty five perches to a Bounded Gum Tree by the side of a small Branch in the said Trumans Lyne & from (thence) |
