             On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was
             thus Endorst vizt

             September 26.th 1730
                                            Then received of Doctor
             Charles Carroll One hundred and fifteen pounds
             sterl money of Great Brittain being the Consideration
             Money within Mencond I say received
             by me               £115

             September 26 1730 Then Came before me one of his
             Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of the
             Province of Maryland Cap.t Thomas Clegatt and
             Mary his Wife and acknowledged the within
             Deed and the Land and premisses then Bargained
             and sold to be the right and Estate of Doctor
             Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for Ever
             according to the Tenour thereof And the said
             Mary being privately examined apart from
             her said Husband Declares she does the same
             Freely and Willingly without being induced
             thereto by fear or threats of or ill useage
             by her husband or Fear of his Displeasure
