pound sterl he the said Benjamin for the better securing the payment of the said sume at the days and times herein after expressed and also in Consideration of the s.d John his giveing the said Benjamine the severall days of payment herein after mentioned as also in Consideration of the sume of five shillings sterl to him the said Benjamin by the said John Taillor paid and delivered the receipt whereof the said Benjamine doth hereby acknowledge hath givin granted bargained sold ali^e^ned enfeoffed and confirmed and Doth by these presents for himself and his heirs give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoffe and confirme unto him the said John Taillor his heirs and assignes for ever all that tract or parcel of Land caled Belts Prosperity being part of Two Tracts of Land the one of two one Thousand Acres the other of five hundred acres of Land both called Expectation lying in Baltemore County and upon the head of Gunpowder River and on the South side of the North branch of the said River Bgining at a bounded red oak markt with six Notches a bounded tree of the Land caled James's Forrest and running thence parallel with the said Land North East till it intersect the af.d branch then runing down the said Branch South East half ^a^ point southerly till it intersect the Land called Richard's Hope then runing parallell with the said Land South West and by West to a bounded white Oake standing on a Ridge then runing West South West seventy perches bounding on the said Land to another bounded white oake standing near a branch then runing West by a direct line to the first tree layd out for three hundred acres of Land with appurtences Also all that tract or parcel of Land called Godfather's Gift lying formerly in Charles but now in prince Georges County on the North west side of a branch that runs unto the Main branch of the Eastern branch of Potowmack about four miles from the wading place of the western branch formerly survey'd for W.m Middleton for One hundred and twenty three acres with the appurtenances Also all that tract or parcel of Land called Lookout lying in prince George's County af.d Patented for the said Benjamine Belt in the year seventeen hundred and seventeen and surveyed for Nineteen acres with the |
