(453) x.d This Indenture made the Eighth day of September Anno Domini seventeen hundred and Thirty Between William Worthington of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part And Vachel Denton of the City of Annapolis in the same County Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Worthington for and in Consideration of the sume of one hundred and ten pounds sterling money of Great Brittain to him in hand paid by the said Vachel Denton the receipt whereof the said William Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and from every part and parcell thereof Doth hereby fully and absolutely acquit exonerate and Discharge him the said Vachel his heirs executors and administrators Hath given granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth give Grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Vachel Denton his heirs and assigns for Ever All that tract or parcell of Land Called Warren lying and being in Cecill County in the province aforesaid Begining at a Bounded Red Oak being the Westermost Bounds of a parcell of Land Called Clifton laid out for John Browning standing on the West side of a small Branch and running West sixty perches then West and by South One hundred perches to a Bounded white oak standing upon the side of a Hill nigh the Head of a Small Cove then South three hundred and seventy perches to a Marked Hickory then South East and by East One hundred perches then East and by South seventy two perches till it Intersect the said Clifton then binding on the said Intersection to the first Mencond Bounds Containing and laid out for Four hundred and fifty four Acres of Land more or Less Together with all Houses Plantations Fences Improvements and all manner of App^urtenances^ to the Same Belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to Hold the Same Land and Premisses Called Warren with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Vachel Denton his heirs and assignes for ever to the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Vachel Denton his heirs and assignes for ever And to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said William Worthington Doth hereby for himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrators and Every of them Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Vachel Denton his heirs and assigns That he the said Will.m Worthington (and) |
