November the 2.d 1730 Then Came the within Named Joshua George before me the subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court & acknowledged the within Land premisses and slaves to be the right of the Within Mencond Benjamin Tasker and John Colvill their and Each of their heirs and Assignes for Ever according to their and each of their parts & portions Within Mentioned and according to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided George Plater Then Came before us the subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices for Cecill County Alice the Wife of the within named Joshua George and acknowledged the within Mencond Land and premisses and slaves to be y.e right of the within Mencond Benjamin Tasker & Jn.o Colvill their and Each of their heirs and assignes for ever according to their and each of their parts & portions within Mencond And the said Alice being privately examined out of the hearing of her said Husband did Confess that she made the same acknowledgment freely and Voluntarily without fear or threats from or Compultion of her said Husband according to the form & effect of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided Recorded this third day of Novem.ber 1730 x.d Maryland fs Know all men by these presents that I Richard Harris on of Calvert County Merchant am held and Bound unto Samuel Harrison of Ann Arundell County Merchant in the full sume of Two Thousand five Hundred pounds sterling to be paid to the said Samuel his Executors Administrators or assigns to which payment (well) |
