(437) This Indenture made the first day of September
in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Thirty Between Thomas Jones of Baltimore County in the province of Maryland of the one part and Nathaniel Chew and Ann Chew residuary Legatees of Nathaniel Chew late of Ann Arrundell County in the same province deceased of the other part Wittnesseth That the Said Thomas Jones in for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifteen Pounds Sterling to him the said Thomas Jones in hand paid by the Said Nathaniel Chew deceased The Recept whereof the Said Thomas Jones doth hereby confess and acknowledge and thereof and every part thereof doth Acquit exonerate and discharge as well the said Nathaniel Chew his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns as the Said Nathaniel Joseph and Ann, party.n to this Deed their heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns and every of them by these psents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell a like enfeoff release & confirm unto the Said Nathaniel Chew Joseph Chew and Ann Chew All these tow pices or pcell of Land lying and being on Herring Creek being parts or parcels of one whole Tract called and known by the nam of Pascals Purchase The one being Surveyed and laid out for a Certain Jonathan Jones under whom the Said Thomas Claim.rs the fifteenth day of Feb.ry Seventeen hundred by a Certain Richard Beard and Begining at abounded white Oak being abounded Tree of John Wilsonis being abounded Tree of another parcel of Land sold out of the said Tract & runig from the said white Oak East South East Twenty two perches to abounded Hiccory Then South One degree West One hundred fourty Eight perches to abounded poplar Then West half apoint North to the Land of the said John Wilson Then by the several Courses of the Said Wilsons Land To the first bounded white Oak containing and laid out for fourty Acres of Land The other part being like wise Surveyed and laid out for the Said Jonathan Jones by Thomas Larkin some time survey for Ann Arrundel County on the Ninth day of June in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and four Begining at abounded pock Hiccory standing at the End of an East South East (Course) |
