(435) On the Back of the Aforegoing Indenture was thus Endorst viz.t Received the Day and year first within Mencond Of the within named Ariana Jenings the within Mencond ^contained^ sums of Four hundred Thirty four pounds five shillings & one penny three farthings sterl And One hundred Twenty One pounds nineteen shill and four pence Currency being the Consideration Money within Exprest I say Received by Witness Henry Evans Ja Harris C hynson Aprill 27.o 1730 Then Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court the Within Named Henry Evans party to the within Deed and acknowledged the Land and Premisses within Mencond to be the right of the within Named Ariana Jennings according to the Tenour and Import thereof And according to the form and Effect of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Certified p M.r Ward 1693 x.d This Indenture made the tenth day of June in the fourth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord & Lady King William and Queen Mary ^King and Queen^ of England Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the faith &c Between John Watmore of Calvert County Planter of the one part and William Dare of Cecill County of the Other part Witnesseth that the said John Walmore have for and in Consideration of the sume of seven ^thousand^ pounds of Good sound Merchantable Tobacco in Caske to him (secured) |
