(416)    On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was thus Endors.t
             Viz.t   Maryland fs June the Eighth 1730

                 Then Came the within Named William Worthington before
             me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
             Provinciall Court & acknowledged the within Deed to be
             this Act & Deed for the use of the within Named Benjamin
             Hammond And the same time Sarah the Wife of the said
             William Worthington being privately examined out of the
             hearing of her said Husband Declared that she acknowledged
             the same Deed Willingly & freely without being Induced
             thereto by fears or threats of or Ill Usage of the said
             Husband or fears of his Displeasure according to the
             forme of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided
                            Acknowledged before me the day and year af.d

             (Recorded this 25.th day of June 1730)         Benj.a Tasker

    x.d    This Indenture made the Twenty Eighth day of May Anno
             Domini One Thousand seven hundred & thirty Between
             John Hudson Secundus of Dorchester County in the Province
             of Maryland Gent of the one part And Richard Snowden
             of Arundell County in the Province aforesaid Merchant of
             the Other Part Witnesseth that the said John Hudson
             for and in Consideration of the sume of one hundred seventy
             two pounds eight shillings and six pence Current Money
             of the province aforesaid to him in hand well and truly
             paid and sattisfied by the said Richard Snowden at &
             before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents
             the Receipt whereof he the said John Hudson Doth hereby
             acknowledge and thereof and of Every part & parcell
             thereof Doth Acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said
             Richard Snowden his heirs and assigns for ever Hath
             Given Granted Bargained Sold Assigned Aliened Enfeoffed
             Transferred and Confirmed And by these presents
             Doth give Grant Bargain Sell Assign Alien Enfeoff
             Transferr and Confirm unto the said Richard Snowden
             his heirs and assigns for ever all that peice parcell
             or Tract of Land Called John Lane being the Dwelling
             plantation of the said John Hudson & is scituate lying
             and being on the North side of Chickannocomoco River in
