Indenture made the Eighth x.d Day of June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty Between William Worthington of Ann Arundell COunty In the province aforesaid Gent of the one part and Benjamin Hammond Of the County and province aforesaid Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Worthington for and in Consideration of the Rents and Covenants herein after reserved and Contained Hath Demised Granted and to Farm letten and by these presents Doth Demise Grant and to farm Lett unto the said Benjamin All that two Tracts of Land hereafter Mencond Viz.t Homewoods Range Lying in the County aforesaid on the south side of Patapsco River Bounding as follows beginning on the Northermost bounds by the said River side of a parcell of Land formerly laid out for David Johnson called the Deviding Point and Bounding on the said Land Running south Two hundred & Twenty perches to a Bounded pine tree Bounded on the south by a Lyne Drawn East South East fifty perches to a Bounded Oak by a Creek side then South and by West forty five perches then North West One hundred & ninety six perches then North Two hundred and fifteen perches Bounded on the North by a Lyne Drawn North West three Hundred perches to the Lyne of the Land formerly laid out for George Yate Called Rading then Bounding on the said Land to the said River then on the said River to the first Bounded tree containing three hundred Acres of Land more or Less as also all that other Tract of Land Called the Deviding points lying in Ann Arundell County aforesaid on the South side of Patapsco River on a Creek called Patapscoe Creek Beginning on the Western side of the said Creek about half a mile up at a bounded Red Oake on the Creeke side and Running by a Lyne Drawn West North West Fifty perches to a Bounded pine and from the said pine North Two hundred and Twenty perches to the said River side and from the North Lyne by a Lyne drawn East South East Eighty perches to the Mouth of the said Creek and from y.e East South East Lyne by a Lyne Drawn South South West up the said Creek to the first Bounded tree Containing and then laid out for One hundred Acres of Land more or Less which (Said) |
