(406) of the sume of sixty pounds Sterling Money to
him in Hand paid by the said William Holland the Receipt whereof the said John Hance Stilman doth hereby acknowledge he the said John Hance Stilman Hath Granted Bargaind and Sold Aliened and Confirmed and Confirmed and by These presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien and Confirm unto the said William Holland and his heirs and assigns for ever all That Tract or parcell of Land Called Mount Arrarat Lying scituate and being on y.e East side of Susqua Hannah River in Cecill County Beginning at a Bounded Locust in a small Cove Between two great Hills of Rocks and Running from thence up the River for Breadth North North West One hundred Thirty five perches to another Marked Locust standing on the Brow of a Hill a Little in the Woods between two Deep Branches from thence by a Lyne drawn North North East Five hundred Thirty four perches from thence South South ^East one hundred thirty five perches from thence South South^ West with a streight Line to the first Bounded Locust Containing one hundred and Fifty Acres more or less according to the Certificate thereof Returne unto the Office at S.t Marys And also the Reversion and Reversions remainder & Remainders Rents and Services of the same Premisses and every part thereof And all the Estate Right Title Intrest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said John Hance Stilman of in and to the same lands and premisses and every part thereof To have and To hold all and singular the said Premisses above Mencond and every part & parcell thereof with the appurtenances unto the said William Holland his heirs and assignes to y.e only proper use & Behoof of the said William Holland his heirs and assignes for ever And the said John Hance Stilman for himselfe & his heirs the aforesaid Lands and premisses & every part thereof with the appurtenances against him the said John & his heirs & against all and every other person or persons whatsoever to the said William Holland his heirs and assigns shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto sett their hands and seales the Day & year first above Written Sealed & Delivd in the presence of A Frazer June 11.th 1730 John Hance Stelman Seale Peter Overard William Cumming (on) |
