(401) On the Back of the Aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus Endorst viz.t June the 2.d 1730 Then Came Edward Fell and Did solemnly affirm (being one of the Evidences to the within power) that he saw the within Elizabeth Ginn sign seale and Deliver the within power and did acknowledge the same to be her Act and Deed At the same time ^came^ Cap.t John Randell one of the Evidences to the within Power of Attorney and made Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God that He saw the within Elizabeth Guin signe seale and Deliver the within power And did acknowledge the same to be her Act and Deed Sworne to in Open Court this 2.d of June 1730 (Recorded this 5.th day) p I Stokes Cl Ball Co (of June 1730) x.d Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietarie of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore &c To all to whome these presents shall come Greeting In Our Lord God everlasting Know ye that Wee Baltimore Reposeing Speciall Trust and Confidence in the Capacity Care and Diligence of Mathew Tilghman Ward of our said Province of Maryland Esq.r Have made Constituted Ordained Authorized and Appointed and by these presents Wee do make Constitute Ordain Authorise and Appoint him the said Mathew Tilgman Ward to be Our Chief Agent Escheator and Receiver Generall of all Our Rents Arrears of Rents fines forfeitures Tobaccoes ^or^ Moneys for Land Warrants of all ferrys waifes strays and Deodands of all Duties ariseing from or growing Due upon Exportation of Tobacco or Tunnage of ships and all other Moneys Tobaccoe or other Effects in any Mannor or ways now due or hereafter to grow due whether by protest Bills of Exchange or Otherwise to use within y.e said (province) |
