Presents shall Come Wee S.r Richard Brocas Knight Lord Mayor and the Aldermen of the City of London send Greeting Know ye that on the day of the Date hereof in the Kings Majesties Court holden before us in the Chamber of Guildhall of the same City personably came and appeared Jacob George Clerk to M.r James Dunnidge Notary Publick being a person well known and worthy of Good Creditt and did by solemn oath which he took then and there before us upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God solemnly and sincerly declare testifie and depose to be true in the Words following as by the originall Deposition remaining on Record may appear viz.t That on the Day of the Date hereof he was present and did see Elizabeth Ginn by the stile and Distinction of Elizabeth Ginn of the Parish of S.t Mary and Newington in the County of Surry Widow signe seale and according to due form of Law Execute and Deliver the originall Revocation & procuration or Letter of Attorney hereunto annexed to and for the use and purposes therein Mencond and wherein she impowered M.r John Galloway of West River in the Province of Maryland Merchant her true & Lawfull attorney which said Revocation and Procuration or Letter of Attorney bearing Date the Twenty first day of this instant Mouth of Feb.ry as thereby may appear and that he this Deponant did In Testimony thereof signe or subscribe his name as a Witness to the said Revocation and Procuration or Letter of Attorney And Lastly this Deponent saith that John Rendell and Edward Fell the other Witnesses thereto did in Testimony thereof signe or subscribe their Names in the presence of him this Deponent In Faith and Testimony whereof Wee the said Lord Mayor and Alderman have caused the seal of the Seale of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City to be hereunto put and affixed Dated in London the 23.d day of February Anno Dom 1729 and in the Third Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c Smith Seale (On) |
