(397) under their Respective hands and seales bearing
date on or about the nineteenth of November Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Twenty Eight did jointly make ordain constitute authorise and appoint Amos Woodward of Annapolis aforesaid Merchant their true and Lawfull Attorney in their Name and to their use in the Quality afd To ask Demand Levy Sue for and by all Lawfull ways and Means Recover and Receive of and from all and every sume and sums of money Good wares Merchandizes Effects Estate and things whatsoever due or to grow due owing belonging or appertaining to the Estate of the said Amos Garrett Deceased or to them the said Constituants in the Quallity aforesaid whether by Rent Bond note Bill Book Debt Account Consignment Principall Money Change Rechange Costs Damages and Intrests on any protested Bill or bills of exchange Rent or arrears of Rent Contract Agreement Decree Sentance Judgment Execution of for or by any other cause reason or means soever Nothing excepted nor reserved and to that end with any person or persons whom it should or might concern to Account & to view settle and adjust all accounts and the Ballance thereof to Receive upon Recoveries and Receipts to give one or more acquittances or other sufficient Discharges in Due forme of Law but in case of Refuseall or Delay by any such person or persons to make and Render just and true account payment Delivery and sattisfaction in the premisses him or them thereunto to Compell by all Lawfull ways and means whatsoever also if need were to appear before all Lords Judges and Justices in any Court or Courts there to answer defend and Reply in all Matters and Causes touching or Concerning the premisses to do say pursue implead seize sequester attack distrain Eject arrest imprision and to condemn and out of pursonal again to deliver whit power to substitute one or more attorneys under him with Like or Limmitted power and the same again to Revoke And they the said Constituants did thereby reserve to themselves the Power of Revoaking annulling and makeing void the said procuration or Letter of Attorney or any part thereof at any time thereafter when they should think needfull or convenient so to do such revocation to be made and Executed by them or Either of them joyntly or severally any thing therein aforesaid to the contrary notwithstanding as in and by the said in part recited procuration or Letter of Attorney Relation being thereunto had may more fully appear Therefore she the said appearer according to the (Power) |
