(387) state and Condition to all Intents and Purposes
as if the said Felony and Burglary whereof he the sid Charles Clarke hath been Convict had never been done or Committed Witness Our Dear Brother Benedict Leonard Calvert our Governour and Commander in Chief in and Over our said Province of Maryland this first Day of June in the sixteenth year of Our Dominion &c Annoq Domini 1730 Jo Ross Cl Cord Benedict Leonard Calvert the Great seale in tax (Recorded this 2.d day of June 1730) appendant x.d This Indenture made the Thirtyeth Day of May Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred & Thirty Between Thomas Homewood of Ann Arundell County Gentleman son & heir at Law of James Homewood Late of same County Gentleman Deceased of the one part And Will.m Worthington of the same County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Homewood for and in Consideration of the sume of Three hundred and sixty pounds sterling Money of Great Brittain & One hundred & Fifty pounds Current Money of Maryland And Forty Head of sheep to him the said Thomas Homewood in paid or secured to be paid by the said William Worthington ^at or^ before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enffeeofed Confirmed and Made Over as by these presents he the said Thomas Homewood doth for himselfe and his heirs Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Confirm and make Over unto him the said William Worthington his heirs and Assignes for ever all those several Tracts or Parcells of Land following viz.t a Tract or parcell of Land Called Homewoods Range Containing Three Hundred Acres a Tract or parcell of Land Called the Dividing points (Containing) |
