(375) On the back of which aforegoing
Letter of Attorney was thus Written On the second day of Aprill Anno Dom 1730 Came the Within Named Walter Hoxton and Phillip Allingham before me the subscriber ^one^ of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court for this Province of Maryland and made Oath upon the Holy Evangelists that they Did see the within Mencond John Hyde & Samuel Hyde sign seal and Deliver the within Letter of Attorney as their Act and Deed for the uses therein Mentioned Recorded the 8.th Aprill 1730 Certified P M:s Ward x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the tenth Day of Aprill Anno Domini seventeen Hundred and thirty Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esq.r John Digges of Prince Georges County Gent and Doct.r Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis the Major part of the Executors Of the Last will and Testament of James Carroll of Ann Arundell County Gent Deceased of the one part and Daniell Carroll of Ann Arundell County Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll John Diggs and Doctor Charles Carroll for and in Consideration of five shillings Current Money of Maryland to them in hand paid before the sealing and Delivery hereof by the said Daniel Carroll the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Have Granted Bargained and Sold And by these presents Do grant Bargain and Sell unto the said Daniel Carroll by Pattent of Confirmation September the thirteenth Anno Domini seventeen Hundred & twenty seven as by the said Pattent refferance being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear To have and to hold the Premisses and every part and parcell thereof unto him the said Daniel Carroll & his heirs for ever to the only use and Behoofe of the said Daniel Carroll his heirs & assignes for ever upon the speciall Trust and Confidence (Nevertheless) |
