(373)   Memorandum that this 21.st ft day March 1729

                       Then Came the within subscriber Henry Owings
             Before us two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for
             Baltemore County and acknowledged the within
             Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and
             Premisses within Menconed to be the right and property
             of the within named William Hammond his
             Heirs and Assignes for Ever      On the same day
             Came Helling the Wife of the aforesaid Henry and
             being privately examined according to Act of Assembly
             Relinqueshed her right of Dower

                                              Acknowledged before us
                                                                   W.m Hamilton
                                                                   Rich.d Gist

                Received March the 21.st 1729 of the Within Named
             Will.m Hammond the within named Consideration
             being Forty Seven pound five shillings sterling
             Money for which I am Content recd p me

             Recorded the 7.th Aprill 1730         Henry Owings


    x.d   On the Ninth Day of December Anno Dom 1729 Before
             me John Exton Notary Publick Dwelling in London duly
             admitted and sworne and in presence of the Witnesses hereafter
             named Personally Appeared M.r John Hyde Sen.r
             and M.r Samuel Hyde both of London Merchant (to me
             Notary well known) which said appearers Declared to
             have made Ordained and Constituted and by these presents
             Do Jointly and severally make ordain and Constitue
             Richard Bennett of Maryland Esq.r their true and Lawfull
             Attorney Giving and by these presents Granting unto
             their said Attorney full power and Lawfull ^& absolute^ Authority for
             them and either of them the said Constituents in their and
             uses to ask Demand Levy sue for and by all Lawfull ways
             and Means to Recover and receive of and from all and every
             person and persons of what Degree or Quality soever whome
             it shall or may Concern all & singular such sum and
                                                                         (Sums)
