(371) x.d This Indenture made the Twenty first day of March
One Thousand seven Hundred and Twenty Nine Between Henry Owings of Baltemore County Planter of the one part and William Hammond of the same County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Owings for and in Consideration of the sume of Forty seven pounds five shillings sterling money of England to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath Bargained, Sold unto the said William Hammond all that Tract or parcell of Land Called Paran Lying in the County aforesaid and on the south side of Gwins falls and beginning at two bounded white oakes & one spanish oake standing on a plain near a Branch Called Scutts Levell Branch & running thence south sixty Degrees West One Hundred and ten perches then North Eight Degrees West Fifty four perches then North fifty four perches then North Eight Degrees West seventy perches then North ten degrees East Eighty six perches then North Fifty Degrees West One hundred & thirty two perches then North Twenty Degrees West fifty four perches then south forty Degrees West Twenty perches then North Fifty Degrees West Fifty perches then North sixty Degrees east sixty perches then south Forty Degrees East twenty perches then North seventy Degrees East Thirty Eight perches then south sixty perches then south Thirty Degrees East One hundred and Twenty perches then south seventy Degrees East fifty four perches then with a streight Lyne to the aforesaid Bounded Trees Containing and Laid out for one hundred and Fifty Acres of Land more or Less Likewise all that Tract or parcell of Land Called the Plaines of Paran Beginning at the aforesaid Bounded Trees and Running thence with the aforesaid Land south sixty Degrees West One hundred and Tenn perches then North Eighty Degrees West fifty four perches then North fifty four perches then North Twenty Degrees West Fifty four perches then south Forty Degrees West Twenty perches then running from the above said Land south forty five Degrees West Eighty perches then south Ten Degrees East One Hundred and seventy perches then East seventy perches then North thirty Degrees East Forty perches then south sixty Degrees East sixty Eight perches then south Twenty (Degrees) |
