(370) And that she the said Mary Wife of the said
Henry doth by these presents freely release all her right of Dower to the before Granted Land and Premisses In Witness Whereof the Parties above Mentioned have to these presents Interchangeably set their hands and seales the Day and year above Written &c.a Signed Sealed & Delivered Henry Davis seale in the presents of her Geo Skirven Mary M Davis seale C Hynson mark On the back of the aforegoing Indenture was Indorsed as follows viz.t Memorandum that on the Twenty seventh day of March Anno Domini seventeen hundred and thirty personally appeared before us the subscribers being Two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County of K.t the within Mencond Grantor Henry Davis and acknowledged the within Mencond Land and Premisses as Granted to be the right title Intrest and Estate of the within Mencond Grantee Thomas Williams his heirs and assignes for Ever according to the forme of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided and further we do Certifie that Mary the Wife of the said Henry Davis part to the within Deed freely acknowledged (being by us privately Exam.d out of the hearing of her said Husband) the within Granted Land & premisses to be the right title Intrest and Estate of the said Thomas Williams his heirs & assigns for Ever and that she relinquishes her right of Dower thereto and that Willingly and freely & without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill ussage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure In Testimony whereof we have hereto the day and year above Mencond set our hands Geo Skirven (Recorded the 6.th day of Aprill 1730) C Hynson |
