(318) For Ever all that Tract or parcell of
Land lying in S.t Marys County being part of a Manner Called S.t Elizabeths Manner And which was sold and Conveyed by Vitus Herbert to the said William Thompson by a Deed for that purpose duly Made Executed and Recorded bearing Date the 12.th day of February in the year of Our Lord One Thousand seven hundred Twenty and four Refferance ^being^ thereto had may more fully and at Large appear which said Tract or parcell of Land lyes on the East side of the New Road within the bounds of the abovesaid Manner and is bounded as followeth viz.t Begining in the parrallel Line of the said manner at a Red Oake standing in the said New Road Running East Two hundred and sixty perches to a Hickory (the Exterier Bounds of the said mannor) thence running south four hundred sixty and six perches thence West Fifty four perches to the said New Road and with the said New Road to the first Bounded tree Containing Four hundred and Fifty seven acres more or less together with all and singular the rights priviledges Benefitts and appurtenances tot eh said Bargained Land belonging or in any Manner of Way appertaining To have and to hold the said Land Houses Buildings and all other the premisses hereby bargained and sold with all there and Every of there appurtenances unto the said John Beale his heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes to the only proper use and behoof of the said John Beale his heirs & assignes for Ever And to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said William Thompson for himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrators Doth by these presents Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the Said John Beale his heirs Executors Administrators & Assignes that he the said William Thompson his heirs Executors and Administrators the Land and premisses hereby intend to be bargained and sold against all manner of persons Lawfully Claiming from by or under him the said William Thompson for Ever will warrant and Defend And further the said William Thompson for himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrators Doth Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Beale his heirs and assignes that he the said William Thompson and his heirs shall and will at all times hereafter at y.e Reasonable request and at the Cost and Charge in y.e Law of him the said John Beale his heirs and assignes do make acknowledge suffer and Exempt ^Execute^ any further Deed or Instrum.t will riteing such as the said John Beale his heirs or assigns or his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall reasonably Devise or Advise for the further and better assurance suretie and sure making the aforesaid Land & premisses (hereby) |
