(315) said Branch Bounding on the same to the first
Boundery it begining Containing about seventy five Acres of Land More or less To have and to hold the aforesaid seventy five Acres of Land with all and singular Its Improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any Ways Appertaining unto him the said John Cromwell Jun.r his heirs and assignes for Ever to his and their own proper use and behoofe for Ever freely & Quietly without any Matter of Challenge Claim or Demand of me the said John Cromwell of any other person whatsoever for me in my Name or by my Cause Means or procurement And without any Money or other thing thereof to be yealded paid or Done unto me the said John Cromwell My heirs ^or^ and assignes and I the said John Cromwell Jun.r his heirs and assigns to the use aforesaid against me my heirs and assigns or any other person from by or under me or by my Means or procurement Do Warrant and for Ever Defend by these presents and further Know ye that I the said John Cromwell have putt the said John Cromwell Jun.r in peaceable and Quiet possession of all & singular the aforesaid Land and premisses by the Delivering unto him at y.e Ensealing hereof One Coined peice of silver Commonly Called six pence Fixed on the seale of these presents Provided Nevertheless that it is the true Intent & Meaning of this Deed that Joshua Cromwell Father of the abovesaid John Cromwell Jun.r shall use Occupy and Quietly enjoy the above said Land and premisses Dureing his Naturall Lyfe without any Let hinderance or molestation of the said John Cromwell Jun.r or any other person any thing in this Deed to the Contrary Notwithstanding In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seale this second day of November Anno Dom 1728 Signd Sealed and Delivered John Cromwell seale in presence of us John Smith Thomas Shiredine On the back of the aforegoing Instrument was thus Indorst viz.t Memorandum that on the second day of November 1728 Came the within John Cromwell and acknowledged the with Deed of Gift to be his Act and Deed and at the same time Came Hannah Wife of the Within John Cromwell and gave up her Right of Dowrey according to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided before me the subscriber One of his Lordships Justices for the province of Maryland John Smith Recorded the 31.st day of Mary 1729 |
