(314)    In that Case made and provided That then the Above written
             Obligation to be Void and of no Effect Otherwise to remain
             in full Force and Virtue in Law

             On the Back of the Aforegoing Bond was thus written

             We the subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices of the provinciall
             Court of the province of Maryland do hereby Certifie that
             the within Bond was Executed in Our presence and that
             the Honourable Phillemon Lloyd Esq.r and Coll Mathew Tilghman
             Ward subscribed their Names at Witness^es^ to the same
             which security is approved of by us pursuant to the Act of
             Assembly in that Case made and provided

       x.d            To all People to whom this present writeing shall Come I John
             Cromwell of Anna Arundell County in the Province of Maryland
             send Greeting Know ye that I the said John Cromwell as well
             for and in Consideration of the Naturall Affection and Love which
             Joshua Cromwell of the County and province aforesaid as also for
             Divers other Good Causes and Considerations Me at this present
             Especially Moving have Given and Granted and by these presents
             Doe give Grant and Confirme unto him the said John Cromwell
             Jun.r all that part of a Tract of Land Called Boddys Adventor that
             I purchased of Thomas Welsh as appears by a Conveyance from the
             said Welsh to me bearing Date January the third One Thousand
             seven hundred and Eighteen Begining at the Deep Bottom Branch
             at the End of the South Thirty Degrees East Line of a parcell of Land
             Lotted to John Gardner Out of the same Tract by the said Thomas
             Welsh & Running thence South South East sixty two perches to Cabben
             Branch thence West South West One hundred and sixty perches up
             Cabben Branch thence North West One hundred & thirty three
             perches to said Deep Bottom Branch thence Downe with the
